i have been having these dreams lately. i guess i would use the term “hyperreal” to describe them although that may be overstating it…
They are pleasant, almost warm at best and mundane at their worst. events unfold not with extravangant surreal flair but just as they do everyday. except the small things are better and pleasant and as they should be. the sky has fluffier clouds, lunch is more satisfying, the person who i wish would call does and it’s no surprise because it is right. it is the minutiae, but better. in these moments i am content. the mundane is exalted.
